Ralph Kremp,75,a lifelong resident of Greenock passed away on Monday,August 6,2012 in Select Specialty Hospital.He was born in Greenock on January 23,1937 the son of the late Ralph L. and Sara E Zorn Kremp.He was a retired Ironworker of Local #3, and was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. As an ironworker,Ralph worked on Three Rivers Stadium,many bridges and Pittsburgh office buildings.He was an avid Steeler and Pirate supporter,hunter,fisherman, and enjoyed biking on the Yough trail.Ralph is survived by a brother James W.Kremp of McKeesport,sisters Dolores A.Resner of Gainsville,VA and Carolyn M.Coleman(and husband Eugene B.)of Pittsburgh.Uncle of Denise L. Rose(and husband Scott)and James R.Resner,all of Gainsville,VA. Friends are welcome Thursday August 9 from 2-4 and 6-8P.M. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory,Inc.,6028 Smithfield St.,Boston, Elizabeth Township.Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 A.M.,with the Rev. Richard Krug officiating.Interment will follow at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery.In lieu of flowers,the family suggests contributions to the Elizabeth Township Meals on Wheels.
