Phung Thi Nguyen, 73, of Wilmerding, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Phung was born May 12, 1941 in Vietnam. She was a member of St. Jude The Apostle Church in Wilmerding. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Nguyen of Wilmerding and son, Lam Nguyen of Homestead, and 8 grandchildren. Friends are welcome Friday, January 9 from 5-8:00 PM. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 9, at 8:00 PM with The Rev. Norbert Campbell, officiating. Condolences may be made at gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
