Albert George Lebedda, 89, of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at home.

He was born July 15, 1935 in Homestead, PA, the oldest son of the late Albert and Edith Mae (Rushnik) Lebedda. A US Army veteran, he was a passionate student of history, especially the American Civil War and World War 2. Albert channeled that passion into teaching middle school social studies for Bethel Park School district. Albert was a past District Deputy Grand Master of the 49th Masonic district and an active member of the Duquesne-McKeesport Masonic Lodge #731. He was also a member of the White Oak Borough Planning commission for over a quarter century.

A devoted family man, Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Georgia (Richards) Lebedda. He was also an amazing husband, father and grandpap. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Pamela Lebedda of Colonia, NJ and his grandchild Xiaoyue Lebedda. Other family members mourning this loss are Albert's brother and sister-in-law, Dr. James and Emily Lebedda of Fort Collins, CO; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Jack Butzler of Bethel Park; nieces, nephews and special caregiver, Shawdee.

Friends are welcomed Saturday, July, 12, 2025 from 10-11am at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church 220 8th St, McKeesport, PA 15132. A service will be held at 11am in the church following visitation. Interment with military honors will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J.
