Alma Ann Hoffman, 74, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025. She was born February 4, 1951 and grew up in Clairton and was the daughter of the late Daniel C. and Alma R. (Thompson) McCormick. She was the wife of 40 years to the late Dale Robert Hoffman, who passed away September 7, 2010. Alma was a member and one of the founders of New Hope Assembly of God, in Elizabeth Township and had recently been attending Friendship Community Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh with her second husband, Jack. Alma was a graduate of Clairton High school. Alongside her first husband Dale, she founded many businesses in our area including Duquesne House Personal Care Home, Cornerstone Day Care, Riverview Personal Care, Fallen Timber Stables and was proprietor of Senior Care Plaza in McKeesport. Most importantly, Alma was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 6 years, Jack C. Longmore; daughter, Kelly J. (Josh) Jones; son, Matthew R. Hoffman; granddaughter, Sylvia Hoffman; brothers, Daniel (Christine) McCormick and John (Lisa) McCormick; step-children, Jeff (Michelle) Longmore and Melissa Longmore; step-grandchildren, Paige, Colin, Luke and Tobin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
