Anna Mae O'Brien

Anna Mae O'Brien, 88, of Greenock, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019. She was born September 1, 1931 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late James E. and Anna (Kerston) McKenna. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township and the American Cancer society. She was a volunteer for the food bank and the Divine Redeemer office in Elizabeth Township. She was retired from the office of Kenny, Meta, Hilberg, Kane and Brunskill and had previously worked for the Dean of Engineering at State College and the G. C. Murphy Company in McKeesport. She is survived by her son, William (Mary Ann) O'Brien of White Oak, daughters, Kathleen (David) Groll of Murrysville, Margaret (Thomas) Zebrak of Liberty Borough, Maureen Gall of Greenock, and Loretta Tomko of Forward Township, grandchildren, Bill and Jennifer O'Brien, Shannon, Ben and Erin Groll, Patrick Gall, and Andrew, Bryan, and Carly Tomko, great-grandchildren, Liam and Molly O'Brien, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia O'Brien, infant daughters, Mary and Mary Ann O'Brien, brothers, Robert J., Larry, and Michael (Debbie) McKenna, and sisters, Eileen Kessler, and Marion Rufino. There is no visitation. The family invites you to join them for coffee and donuts at 8 am on Friday December 20, 2019 before mass at St. Michael. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10 am at St. Michael Parish, 101 McLay Dr. Elizabeth 15037. The Rev. Thomas Wagner will officiate.
