Charles R. Cindric

Charles R. Cindric, 81, of Elizabeth, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at home. He was born April 28, 1945 in his current home in Elizabeth and was the son of the late John and Fannie (Krznaric) Cindric. He was the husband of the late Cheryl A. (Sleasman) Cindric, who passed away June 11, 1990. Charles obtained his bachelor's degree from Penn State University and went on to work for Levin Furniture for many years. Charles was an avid gardener who loved to grow and can his own vegetables. He was also an amateur wine and moonshine maker. He enjoyed going to breakfast with his buddies and visiting Rural King afterward. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his nephews, Thomas E. (Gena) Cindric, II., and Michael (Nancy) Cindric; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Thomas Cindric, and his dog and faithful companion, Mindy, who passed away this year at 22 years old. Private entombment will be held at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
