Dale Robert Sieber, 89, of Lincoln Borough, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Dale was born on September 23, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late John and Margaret (Whited) Sieber. When Dale was very young, he began working with his father at a print shop, where he developed a love of lithography, eventually becoming a printer himself. Dale was an avid gardener, and was particularly successful in growing roses and tomatoes. Dale was a lifelong music lover, and spent many years singing barbershop music. He also played a mean harmonica. Dale is survived by his beloved wife, Fran; his children Karen Swanson (Dan), Dale Sieber (Peggy), Mary Jane Sieber (Thomas) and his stepson Ron Johnson (Lori). He is also survived by his sister Joyce Stahl, his five grandchildren, Kristin Taber (Kirk), Tim Swanson (Rachel), Lindsey Johnson, RJ Johnson, Cooper Johnson, and his great grandson, Dalinar Taber. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Sieber, his siblings Ronald, Jack, and Terry, and his first wife, Mary Louise Sieber. Friends will be received, Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000Drew J.
