Daniel Allen Homa

Daniel "Dan" Allen Homa, 85, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was born December 30, 1935 on his grandmother's family homestead in Elizabeth Township and was the son of the late Samuel and Tillie (Hatalovich) Homa. Dan was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport, Blaine Hill Vol. Fire Co, Blaine Hill Townhouse Hunting and Fishing Camp, Franklin/St. John's Trinity Lodge 221 F & AM, and Operating Engineers Local 66. He was manager of the former Homa' Gas Station in Elizabeth, and also worked for the former US Steel Christy Park Works, Dick Corporation, Trumbull Corporation, and retired from the former McCracken Oldsmobile. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy (Piontka) Homa. They were married May 24, 1958. He is also survived by his son, Daniel Victor Homa of Monroeville, daughter, Tanya (Daniel) Polinsky of New Stanton, grandchildren, Alicia (Sean) Lyons, Daniel Robert Homa, Joshua (Bethany) Homa, Steven Homa, Matthew (Leah) Polinsky, Alexandra (Phillip) Polinsky, Samuel (Rachel) Polinsky, and Sydni (Dylan) Polinsky, great-grandchildren, Loudan, Elle, Lonnie, Cash, Lennyn, and Lola. He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Homa.
