Deborah S. Kostreva, 73, of Turtle Creek passed away Monday, August 17, 2026. She was born March 9, 1953 in Homestead to the late Paul Sikora Sr., and the late Veronica (McKula) Sperber. She was also the loving wife to the late John "Jack" Kostreva before his passing in January 2022. Debby was an artsy kind of free spirit. She had passion for the arts and attended the Art Institute, but also had a love for sewing, gardening and baking. She also enjoyed her days spent traveling to different casinos, or to the beach - which made sense since her house was decorated top to bottom with sea turtles. However, nothing meant more than spending time with her grandkids. They meant the world to her. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Annette (John) Gallagher of Pittsburgh; son, Timothy Adam (Nicole Garrison) Kostreva of North Huntingdon; 2 grandchildren, Garrett and Liliana Gallagher; her brother, Paul (Kathy) Sikora, Jr.; a very close family friend, Xuan "Song" Groves; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Debby is preceded in death by her siblings, Steven "Teno" Sikora, Ronald Sikora, and Gilbert Sikora.
There are no arrangements at this time. Arrangements are with the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, PA 15135. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. With Debby's love of flowers, the family appreciates donations be made in her memory to Phipps Conservatory - https://my.conservatory.org/donate/i/phippsfund.
