Denise Rae Lennon

Denise Rae Lennon, 74, of McKeesport, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025. She was born November 21, 1951 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Irving and Jean (Smith) Chotiner. Denise spent many years in the food and beverage industry, most notably as a bar manager, where her outgoing and fun loving personality made everyone feel welcome. A true people person with a big heart, Denise cherished her family deeply. She had a love for all things glamorous, especially jewelry and never missed an opportunity to get dressed up. Her birthday was a favorite occasion and celebrated with a night out to dinner and, most importantly, a cake she truly savored every single year. She was bubbly, fun-loving, and full of life, Denise enjoyed watching classic films, with a special fondness for old horror movies starring Boris Karloff. She loved listening to oldies music, and her favorite song was “At Last” by Etta James. She also found joy in watching professional wrestling, cheering on favorites like Hulk Hogan and John Cena. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Scott) Guntrum-Russell; siblings, Saundra Lovas, Kenneth D. (Diana) Chotiner, Christine (the late Ron) Minnich, and Keith R. (Sandy) Chotiner; her partner of over 30 years, Steve Delman and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. There will not be any visitation or services.
