Dennis Jones, 78, of Port Vue, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026 in Pittsburgh.

It is with great sadness that I bid farewell to my soul mate. He was a great storyteller and people enjoyed the stories about his fun life experiences. He was a unique individual who worked hard, played hard, and loved deeply. Dennis was a friend to all with a heart that welcomed everyone he met (Unless you were beating him at golf). Dennis brought love, kindness, resilience, and humor to our lives. Wherever his journey takes him, he will surely miss the people he was fortunate enough to have in his life. We hope that thinking of him will bring you joy and laughter. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Katherine; his devoted, loving daughter, Kerri (Bill); and his two grandchildren, Bela and Bianka, whom he adored. He is now safely and happily reunited with his parents, John and Margaret Jones, and his only brother, Rodger Jones. Friends are welcome on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director.
