Dolly Elaine Limley, 94, of Port Vue, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026. She was born in Somerset on June 4, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Simon Peter and Jennie Marie (Phillippi) Rugg. Dolly was also the loving wife of the late Charles Limley, who passed away in April 1995 - as well as by her 2 sons, Thomas Limley, Sr., and Greg Limley; and siblings, Robert, Louise, Ada, Esther, Nellie, and Opal. Dolly worked as a cosmetologist for more than 30 years before retiring from Estée Lauder. She took great pride in her work, but her greatest joys came from her family, her church, and the many ways she could lend a helping hand. Dolly was a devoted member of Port Vue United Methodist Church, where she volunteered countless hours and was always ready to help wherever she was needed. She was especially fond of the church’s food pantry and spaghetti dinners-made even more special when she brought along her famous pies, thumbprint cookies, or apple dumplings. She also dedicated much of her time to helping her sons open and run The Blue Rock, a bar in Port Vue . She really just wanted to help out in any aspect she could.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Thomas (Stacy) Limley of Indiana, PA, Jeffrey Limley of FL, and Marisa (Anthony Judice) Limley of Pittsburgh; her daughters-in-law, Sandy and Cheryl Limley; her 7 great-grandchildren, Shane, Justin, Chad, Ian, Ahlaya, Kalli, and Payton Limley; her 2 great-great grandchildren, Charlotte and Beckham; her sister, Shirley Brubaker; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
