Dolores Jean DePodesta

Dolores "Jean" DePodesta, 93, of White Oak passed away Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born in Duquesne on July 10, 1933 to the late William and Anna (Maley) Spang. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony DePodesta before his passing in October 2004. Jean was a member of Mary, Mother of God, Parish - St. Angela Merici Church. She and her husband were close to being lifelong residents of White Oak - and were active within the community, especially the White Oak Athletic Association. She worked over 40 years for Youghiogheny County Club and managed the concession stand on the golf course. Jean is survived by her daughter, Dr. Luann DePodesta (Patrick Farley) of Miami Beach, FL; her 2 sons, David (Kathy) DePodesta of White Oak, and Michael (Donna) DePodesta of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Farley, Sara (Steve) Bell, Matthew, Madelyn, and Jacquelyn DePodesta; as well as great-grandchildren, Sophie & Levi Bell; a sister, Theresa Salak; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Jean is also preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren, Miranda & Wyatt Bell; any her 7 siblings.
