Elizabeth A. “Liz” (DiVencenzo) Koch, 75, of Blythedale, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023.  She was born on February 4, 1948.  She was the devoted daughter of the late Anna DiVincenzo.  She graduated from Elizabeth Forward High School and started a lifelong career in the medical field.  She began her career working front desk for Dr. William F. Ryckman, Family Medicine in Sutersville, PA, in 1992 she moved on to work for Hematology and Oncology Associates doing front desk and billing, then finally found her favorite workplace in 2002 with Dr. Robert N Mitro, D.O. and partners at Associates In Kidney Disease & Hypertension, which later became P.I.N.E. and her place of retirement.  She excelled in her career and built lifelong friendships with her coworkers along the way, many of which became family to her.  She was a proud Italian and adored her small home in Blythedale where she loved cooking out and having picnics with family and friends under the grapevine pergola in her yard.  She was lovingly referred to as a “crazy” cat lady and adored and spoiled her cats Girly and Toby.
