Florence Lee Stirbis

Florence Lee Stirbis, 84, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024. She was born April 5, 1940 in Pricedale and was the daughter of the late William and Lucinda "Lula" Rainey. She was the wife of the late James Edward Stirbis who passed away January 11, 2018. Florence was a member of the First Church of God in West Newton and Eastern Star in Scottdale. She was a retired Business Agent for SEIU Local 585, as well as a school bus driver for Elizabeth Forward ISD. She is survived by her son, Clark E. Sterner of Houston, TX., and nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Rainey. There is no visitation. Memorial Service will be held at the First Church of God, West Newton, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10:30 am. The Rev. Beth Dunlap will be officiating. Private burial will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
