Gilbert "Gib" A. Bergman

Gilbert “Gib” A. Bergman, 75 of Sutersville, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at UPMC Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 25, 1945 in Burgettstown and was the son of the late August F. Bergman, Jr. and the late Frances (Noga) Bergman. He is the beloved husband of Helen (Angelcyk) Bergman for 54 years, proud father of Douglas (Rachel) Bergman of Sutersville, Christopher Bergman, and Gregory (Ashley) of Herminie and grandfather to Jennie, Dean, Evelyn and Lillian Bergman. Gib worked for U.S. Steel for 19 years and Rock Run Inn, Inc. for 25 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and will be remembered for his big heart and crazy sense of humor. There is no visitation. Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
