Gregory William Vasko

Gregory William Vasko, 64, of McKeesport, formerly of Greenock, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born July 21, 1956 in McKeesport and was the son of Patricia (Winkelvoss) Vasko of Greenock and the late Frank G. Vasko. Greg was proprietor of an Auto Body Repair Shop and raced cars for 35 years with 100 feature wins. He raced at 68 different race tracks in 10 states and Canada. His final racing was with the ARCA Racing Series. Greg was a famous drummer in the area. He started drumming as a teenager and continued throughout the years. He was a 1974 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lori Ann (Evans) Vasko, daughters, Jennifer L. and her husband Michael Stetar of West Mifflin, and Melissa (Motto) and her husband Skip Zogopoulos of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and granddaughter, Octavia Zogopoulos of Ewa Beach, Hawaii. There is no visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
