Gust G. Pedos, 91, of McKeesport, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at home. He was born November 9, 1930 in the Village of Pigi on the Island of Ikaria in Greece and was the son of the late George and Anna (Tsounis) Pedos. Gust was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church,White Oak and the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood. For his service to his church, he received the St. Photios Award from the Metropolis of Pittsburgh. He was proprietor of Pedos Painting. He is survived by his wife, Toula (Zahardis) Pedos, daughters, Vickie Pedos-Marko and her husband Robert of McKeesport and Anna Pedos of White Oak, grandchildren, Georgie Pedos-DiClemente and Zoe Pedos-DiClemente, sister, Angeliki Halvas and her husband Gust of Pittsburgh, nieces, nephews, and cousins here and in Greece. He was preceded in death by his son, George C. Pedos, sister, Marianthe Spanos and brothers, Apostolo Pedos and Stefanos Pedos. Friends are welcome Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 9-11:30 am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, White Oak. Funeral Service will be celebrated there at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at the McKeesport Versailles Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caretakers that took such great care of Gus.
