Helen Allen

Helen Elizabeth Allen, 104, of Redstone Highlands of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. Born in Versailles Township on February 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Bayne Allen and Emma C. Wunderly Allen, sister of the late Walter M. Allen, Chester T. Allen, Louise M. Allen, and Emily C. Saunders. She is survived by two nieces Rebecca Johnson (Eddie) and Pamela Saunders; great nephew Matthew Johnson (Laura); great niece Amy Wood (John) and great-great nieces Alex Johnson, Bri Johnson, and Rachel Elizabeth Wood. Also, Helen was loved and will be missed by the Nevin and Johnston Families. Helen graduated from McKeesport High School in 1938. After working at Union National Bank in McKeesport for four years, Helen was employed by, and retired from, the former Gulf Oil Corporation of Pittsburgh after 35 years of service. She was a member of Round Hill Presbyterian Church and the Morning Circle. A committal service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park in the Office Chapel on Thursday, January 15 at 11 AM.
