Irene Bernadine Monezis

Irene Bernadine Monezis, 90, of McKeesport, died passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019. She was born February 25, 1929 in Hosttetter, and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Pavlok) Godula. She was the wife of the late George M. Monezis, Jr., who passed away September 21, 2016. They were married for 65 years. Irene was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, and was formerly Proprietor of Minerva Bakery in McKeesport. She is survived by her son, Mark Monezis and daughter, Kathi M. Harvey of McKeesport, grandchildren, Alaina, Kurt, Kate, and Michael, sister, Helen Bogden of McKeesport, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Slafka, and brothers, John, Joseph, Michael, and Steve Godula.
