Janet R. Styche

Janet R. Styche, 90, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was born March 25, 1932 in McKeesport and was the daughter to the late Leo Mintz, Sr., and the late Ruth (Lindquist) Mintz. She was the wife to the late William F. Styche before his passing in May of 2018. Janet was a passionate reader. She loved working for the McKeesport Daily News; then as an English Teacher at the Elizabeth Forward Middle School. She is survived by her brother, Robert Mintz of Baltimore, MD; step-son, William "Bill" G. (Kim) Styche of Myrtle Beach, SC; step-daughter, Tricia (Tom) Lowden of Greensburg; grandchildren, Ryan (Kimberly), Tyler, Jaianne, and Tom; great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Saylor; niece, Christel Mintz; and her sweet kitty-cat, Cali. In addition to her parents and husband, Janet is preceded in death by her brother, Leo Mintz, Jr. There will be no services at this time.
