Rev. Jean Blosser

Rev. Jean Blosser, 85, of McKeesport, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026. She was born January 5, 1941 in Lincoln Boro and was the daughter of the late Frank Ross Sr. and the late Mary (Pavlic) Ross. Jean was the wife of the late Rev. Patrick Leroy Blosser, Sr., who passed away March 20, 2010. Jean was a huge believer in Jesus Christ and along with her late husband, traveled far and wide preaching the bible. She taught many people throughout Canada, Mexico, Maine, North Carolina and Texas, amongst many other places about Jesus. She loved traveling. Jean was also an excellent cook, who loved to host and entertain. She was known for her stuffed cabbage, stuffing, pickled eggs, pies and other baked goods. She was a classy woman who was always pristinely dressed and her hair was always done before leaving the house. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend who everyone called when they needed to talk to someone or for prayers. She loved her family so much, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but she really loved everyone she met, and never met a stranger. She was also a huge Elvis fan and a huge fan of The Pittsburgh Steelers and The NBA. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughter, Patricia "Patty" (Kevin) Kasan; sons, John Blosser and Patrick (Danielle) Blosser, Jr.; grandchildren, Felisha(Cody) Kun, Gregory (Corrinna) Garner, Emily Blosser, Ryan Blosser, Savannah Blosser, Alexis Blosser, and John Blosser, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jacob Kegley, Carter Kegley, Logan Kegley and John Kegley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, John Patrick Kegley; granddaughter, Destiny Marie; great-grandson, Cody Kun, Jr.; and siblings, Frank Ross, Jr., Chuck Ross, Johnny Ross, Dominic Ross, Mary Ross, and Rose "Baby" Steele. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
