John Michael Snee

John Michael Snee, 61, of Apollo, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at his home. He was born August 26, 1964 in McKeesport and was the son of the late James F. and Dorothy L. (Fuehrer) Snee. John was a former member of The Bryn Mawr Church of Christ in White Oak. He had worked at The Sheltered Workshop and also for McDonald's in New Kensington. John loved listening to music and playing Trivial Pursuit with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his brother, James T. (Betty) Snee of Murrysville; sister-in-law, Peggy Snee of White Oak; nieces, Nikole (Stan) Marks, Jennifer (Jack Doran) Snee, Elizabeth (Doug) Armstrong; nephews, Eric Snee, Mike Snee, and Tom (Paige) Greenaway; great-nieces and nephews, Ricki Doran, Chloe Snee, Alexander Snee, Dylan Armstrong, Megan Armstrong, Katy Armstrong, Lauren Greenaway, and Will Greenaway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Snee and sister, Donna (the late William) Greenaway. Friends are welcome on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm following visitation in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Adam Stump, officiating. Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.
