Josephine L. Piper, 72, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at home. She was born October 13, 1947 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John and Magdalyn (Goettler) Slack. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Church-St. Angela Parish where she was a Lector. She was a Eucharistic Minister, Youth Volunteer and Minister, and CCD Teacher for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers and Ladies of Charity and took Communion to the sick and homebound. Josephine was a housekeeper for the former Holy Trinity/St. Martin DePorres Parish in McKeesport. She is survived by her son, Terry (Debbie) Piper of White Oak, daughter, Tammy Brewer of Cranberry, grandchildren, Raymond and Alexis Brewer, sister, Louise (Bill) Krampf of Southgate, Michigan, brother, John Slack of West Mifflin and nieces and nephews.
