Kathleen "Kathy" (Resvosky) Wolf, 94, died peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Upon her passing, Kathy reunited with her beloved husband, Raymond Wolf; her parents, Catherine and Joseph Resvosky; her sisters; and many dearly missed family members and friends. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kathleen Wolf; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Alfred Zangrilli; and her cherished grandchildren, Meghan & Jaime Wolf, and Annika & Mario Zangrilli. Anyone fortunate enough to hear the story of how Kathy and Ray met knows it was love at first sight- a love that led them to choose one another every day for the rest of their lives, faithfully living out their wedding vows. Her family finds comfort in knowing that the lovebirds are together once again.
Kathy was a woman who's spirit was ahead of her time. Born on May 26, 1932, she was a constant source of strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family throughout her life. She was feisty in the very best sense of the word-never afraid to speak her mind, quick to stand up for the people she loved, and always ready with a witty remark that could make everyone laugh. She took great pride in her work at GC Murphy Company, Lofstrum Electronics, Massaro Corporation, and Newman's Clothing Store. While she enjoyed every chapter of her career, her greatest accomplishment was raising her two children. Her son, Ken, reflects her steadfast nature and fierce devotion to family, while her daughter, Linda, carries forward her compassion, sensitivity, and determined spirit.
After retiring, Kathy embraced her golden years by hosting family gatherings, traveling to Las Vegas with Ray to enjoy their favorite casinos, reading mystery and thriller novels, and baking the chocolate chip cookies the family always looked forward to.
Kathy's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Whitehall Post Acute for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided during her final days.
Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, PA 15135. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Private inurnment will take place at Round Hill Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Gary Sinise Foundation, two organizations that held a special place in Kathy's heart. Condolences can be made at GilbertFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com
