Leon V. Kulasa, 81, of Monroeville, formerly of McKeesport and Pleasant Hills, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at home. He was born June 18, 1939 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Leon J. and Helen (Szajnukowska) Kulasa. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish. Leon was a retired Engineer. He had worked for Westinghouse, Pittsburgh DeMoine Steel and Bricmont. He loved astronomy, golf, reading, and was a casino black jack fan. He loved to travel. He visited many places including the Great China Wall, Russia, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. He is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann (Carlo) Benvenuto of Monroeville, sons, Marc (Susan) Kulasa of Monroeville, Paul (Melissa) Kulasa of Rostraver, Leon Kulasa of Fl, and John (Ashley) Kulasa of Mount Lebanon, former wife, JoAnne (Mooney) Kulasa, grandchildren, Stefanie, Nicole and Anthony Benvenuto, Lauren (Justin) Heller, Kevin, Ryan, Ayden, Brooke, Kaitlyn, Shawn, Bryce, Tyler, Alex, Jack and Paige Kulasa, brother, Ben (Kathy) Kulasa of Delmont, sisters, Janice Random of Enterprise, FL, Mary Ann (John) Boicourt of Peach Tree City, GA, and Dottie (Tom) Drake of Kissimmee, FL, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Kulasa. There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10 am at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Church, White Oak. (Everyone please meet at the church). Inurnment will follow at the Corpus Christi - St. Mary Cemetery, White Oak. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J.
