Marilyn J. Firden

Marilyn June Firden, 87, of Elizabeth, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020. She was born on July 18, 1933 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Sophie (Prerkawski) Makiski. She was the wife of the late Sherman Firden. Marilyn was a member of the Bethesda United Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth and the Elizabeth Twp. Senior Citizens. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Wray of South Carolina and Cindy Opfer of Elizabeth, 9 grandchildren, 9 soon to be 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation and funeral service were held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Walt Pietschmann, officiated. Inurnment took place at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
