Mark John Gasparovic

Mark John Gasparovic, 73, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was born July 12, 1948 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Mark John Gasparovic and the late Anna (Sinichak) Gasparovic Scarpari. He was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport and was church treasurer for 50 years. Mark was a retired Math and Science Teacher in the Belle Vernon Area School District and was also a member of the Belle Vernon Education Association. He loved family gatherings, reminiscing, biking and tennis. He is survived by his sisters, Marion Temple of McKeesport, Mary Jane (Dr. Raymond) Malackany of Canton, OH, Carol (Ronald) DePaul of San Diego, CA, Nancy Parker of Hempfield Township, and Diane (Richard) Tomkowitz of Elizabeth Township, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Brant.
