Marybeth Trapani-Hanasewych, of Allison Park, passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2023. Daughter of the late Patricia and Dominic Trapani and preceded in death by her beloved husband John. She is survived by her Son Patrick, Siblings Michelle Harper (Michael) Maria Goman (William), brother Michael Trapani (Nancy), beloved dog Luci, and many loving nieces and nephews. Marybeth retired from the Children’s institute in 2019 as director of speech and language therapy department for over 20 years. She also taught worldwide. She was the expert  in Neuro Developmental treatment (NDT)  Her professional accolades and awards were numerous.  Her biggest accomplishment was her son. She will be missed by her many friends who supported her during her courageous 4 year battle with cancer. A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Teresa Avila Church, Pittsburgh 15237 on October 28, 2023 at 10 am.  Everyone, please meet at church. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director.
