Nira Lorraine Philburn

Nira Lorraine Philburn, 66, of Elizabeth, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born July 12, 1955 in McKeesport and was the daughter to the late Leroy Houser and Irene (Brownfield) Knicely. She was a 1973 graduate of Elizabeth Forward. Nira was a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts USA, Boy Scouts and also a member of the Boston Fire Company Lady's Auxiliary. She retired from the Elizabeth Forward School District as a Custodial Supervisor after working there for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Lynn (David) Davies of Georgia; son, Ryan Adam Philburn of Elizabeth; brothers, Harry (Ruth Ann) Brownfield of Jefferson Hills, and Leroy Houser of Bellsville, OH; sisters, Louise Egaulaf of Baldwin, Sadie (Ray) Hall of Christy PArk, and Maryann (Stanley) Chisco of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Cody and Kiley Davies, and many nieces and nephews.
