Paul Richard MacPherson, Sr.

Paul Richard MacPherson, Sr., 65, of Liberty Borough, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023. He was born August 3, 1957 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John Charles MacPherson Jr. and the late Sue Anne (Parkins)MacPherson Spahr. He was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, where he was an Elder and sang in the church choir. He was also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and the former Boston Fire Company. He was President of "Friends of Mount Vernon Cemetery". Paul was a Computer Systems Engineer for Dell Inc. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Rae (Couchenour) MacPherson, daughter, Heather (Chris) Mann of Greer, SC., son, Paul R. (Nicole) MacPherson, Jr., of Liberty Borough, grandchildren, Isaac, Aaron and Annabelle, brothers, Rev. J. Charles (Melinda) MacPherson, III, of Harrison City, Robert William (Debbie) MacPherson of Sewickley, and Thomas A. (Penelope) MacPherson of DeFuniak, FL., brother-in-law, Eugene Zias of Grindstone, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Zias. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 12 pm at the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, 2200 Greenock-Buena Vista Road, Elizabeth Township. The Rev. Matthew Fricker will be officiating. Private burial will be at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
