Pauline (Galley) Dworek, age 91 of Port Vue, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 2. Raised in Liberty Boro she was the daughter of the late Richard and Pauline (Potocsnak) Galley. Pauline is survived by her dedicated husband, Theodore J. Dworek of almost 70 years who remained by her side during many blessed years of health and in the final days of illness. She is the loving mother to five children, deceased child Diane Mitchell, and surviving children Timothy (Cheri) Dworek, Thomas (Lee Ann Catalina) Dworek, Tammy (Joseph) Wright, and Theodore (Elaine) Dworek. She is the cherished grandma to Timothy Dworek, Tiffany (Kana) Moy, Maria Dworek, Ben Bartley, Bruce (Samantha) Bartley, Garret Wright, Chad Wright, Theodore J. Dworek, and Gabriella Dworek. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, in addition to many other nieces and nephews. Pauline was the youngest sibling and was preceded in death by Leo Galley, Richard Galley, Betty Leake, Gladys James, and Elmer Galley. Pauline met Ted at the Glassport roller skating rink and she continued to enjoy polka dancing, sewing, planting flowers, slot machines, and going on senior trips. She was first employed at GC Murphy Company and with her glowing sunshine personality, she was the preferred waitress for many customers at many restaurants including the Lemon Tree, Chesterfields, Office Lounge and various country clubs. She was just as devoted to her family and her kindness spread throughout. Her door was always open for family and friends in need of her shelter, love, and guidance, or any and all who would just stop in without notice for a cup of coffee or tea with her favorite baked goods and sweets. She was a faithful member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish. Friends are welcome Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 2-7 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
