Richard Paul McAfee, Sr.

Richard Paul McAfee, Sr., 83, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019. He was born March 19, 1936 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late John Hunter and Mary Catherine (Knittle) McAfee. Richard had worked for Gateway Towers in Pittsburgh and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Sherri L. Ludwig of Elizabeth Township and Cindy McAfee of New Kensington, and sons, Richard P. McAfee, Jr., and Lawrence L. McAfee of Greensburg, sister, Maxine McAfee and brother, David (Alice) McAfee of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Thomas and Timothy Ludwig, Mauve, and Cowin McAfee, Crystal Mathews, Tyler Wassel, Dallas Newcomb, and Grace Petronis, great-grandchildren, Fiona, Anya, Luke and William Mathews, Chase and Ezra Wassel, and Julian, Jameson, and Jadzia Ludwig, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his grandson, William Ludwig and brothers and sisters. There is no visitation. Funeral service with Military Honors will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:30 am at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
