Robert "Bob" Patrick Rae, 95, of McKeesport passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024. Robert was born on September 22, 1928 and was the son of the late William and Madeline (Marley) Rae. He was the husband of 47 years to the late Arletta Jean (Tolgen) Rae. He was a lifetime resident of McKeesport, who attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War and served in the United States Army Signal Corps. He was employed and later retired from Sears, Roebuck & Company. Robert was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and also enjoyed walking, gardening and reading. Robert is survived by his daughters, Christine Rae (Jerry) Baiamonte of Roswell, Georgia and Kathleen Rae of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jason (Melissa), Devan, Erin and Abigail. He was blessed with three great grandchildren, Cordelia, Cassian and Donovan (Jason). Robert is preceded in death by his seven brothers, Thomas, William Jr., Paul, John (Jack), James, Marley (Leo) and Michael. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 11am -12pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. A Memorial Service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm. Interment immediately following at the McKeesport - Versailles Cemetery.
