Sarah Kolakowski

Sarah Shank Trasp Kolakowski, 85, passed away on March 21, 2020 in McKeesport Hospital. An amazing woman who touched the lives and hearts of all who knew her. Due to the corona virus, a celebration of her life will be held at later date. At that time a private burial will take place at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. A loving mother to Paula Tortorice (Art), and Wendy Trasp, of Elizabeth Township, and step-children, David Kolakowski (Yvonne) of Middletown, Jimmy Kolakowski (Julie) of Half Moon Bay, CA , and Rob Kolakowski, of Mt. Joy. A devoted grandmother to Erin Tortorice, Tanees Birckbechler (Cory), Artie Tortorice (Kellie), and Katlyn Tortorice, Jordan and Aubrey Anderson, and Leah Kolakowski, in addition to her great grandchildren all of who filled her heart with great pride and joy. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Shank, of Lakewood, CA. She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Paul E. Trasp, her sisters, Patricia Ornowski, and Margaret Beamon, brother, James Shank, and step-daughter, Kathleen Anderson.
