Shawn Scott Schultz, 65, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. He was born September 28, 1958 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Watson and Florence (Sweet) Schultz. Shawn was a member of the former First United Presbyterian Church of Boston and was a retired machinist for the former Daugherty Tool and Die. He was a 1976 graduate of South Allegheny High and was a lifetime member of the Port Vue Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived his wife, Mary Jo (Philburn) Schultz, sons, Joshua (Heather) Sorton of Robinson Township and Tyler Schultz of Coulter, grandchildren, Cailyn Sorton, Mya Sorton, Joshua Sorton, Jr., and Jackson Schultz, brother, Todd H. (Deborah) Schultz of Liberty Borough, sister-in-law, Linda Lutz of North Huntingdon, brother-in-law, William Nicholson of Liberty Borough and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Nicholson and brothers, Watson Schultz and Lance Schultz. Friends are welcome Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1pm until service at 2 pm in the chapel of the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Private inurnment will be at the Mount Vernon Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Elizabeth Township. Condolences may be made at Gilbert Funeral Home and crematory.com
