Wesley Lee Luckey, 92, of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at home. He was born August 21, 1933 in Dawson, and was the son of the late Andrew and Grace (Strickler) Luckey. He was the loving husband of 62 years to Jane Russell (Pryde) Luckey. He was a US Army Veteran, serving during the time of the Korean War. He was an Elementary School Principal in the Elizabeth Forward School District for many years. After his retirement he taught his passions at the Chautauqua Institute. He was a talented craftsman and his many passions included; gardening, stained glass making, woodworking, upholstery, and tinkering around in his garage. He loved inspiring people and to travel the world with his wife. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Judith (Fred) Dudics of Erie; brother, Ivan (the late Nancy) Luckey of Houston, TX; sister, Sally (the late Bill) Harley of Fombell; and two grand-cats. Friends will be recieved Friday, August 7, 2026 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
