William Clyde Lacey

William Clyde "Will" Lacey, 78, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026. He was born September 9, 1948 in Buena Vista and was the son of the late Clyde F. and Wilma Jane (Andre) Lacey. Will graduated from W&J University and went on to own and operate The CH Lacey HVAC Inc. He attended Greenock United Methodist Church. Will was an avid golfer and his favorite course was The Youghiogheny Country Club. He loved to travel with his wife, Nancy. Some of their favorite destinations were Mexico and Deep Creek, Maryland, with a few day trips to other places as well. One of Will's favorite traditions was the annual Christmas dinners with his grandchildren, where everyone would pick a nice restaurant and spend time together for the holidays. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Nancy (Kovacs) Lacey; daughter, Nancy Ann (Joshua Allison) Lacey; step-children, Barry (Heidi) Lichy, Kriss Ann (Mark) Nemchick, and Andrew Michael Lichy; grandchildren, Cameron Cole, Nathaniel (Allie Dellovade) Cole, and Natalie (Sam) Ligeros; as well as numerous other grandchildren and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Andrew Lacey, who passed away September 6, 2020. Friends are welcome on Monday, November 2, 2026 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Scott Lawrence, officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
