Willis Penrod Gilkey, Jr.

Willis Penrod Gilkey, Jr., 79, of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at home by his loving wife and family. He was born January 4, 1945 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Willis Penrod, Sr. and Ruth (Davis) Gilkey. He was the loving husband of 53 years to Linda L. (Erdman) Gilkey. Willis was a Corrosion Technician for Equitable Gas Company for many years, known to his family as the "Gas Man." In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Karen DiCristofaro of North Versailles, Timothy Gilkey of McKeesport and Michelle (David) Spudy of Penn Township; grandchildren, Scott Penrod, Nicholas, Emily, Taylor and Morgan; brother, Jack (Hope) Gilkey of Haines City, FL; nieces Amy, Lauren and Amanda; and nephews, Eric and Thomas.
